| Security Updates Released for Affected Symantec Products |
On September 19, 2016 Symantec announced security updates to address two issues in the AntiVirus engine used by multiple Symantec products. The issues are classified as medium severity. Symantec is not aware of these issues being exploited in the wild. However, Symantec recommends that customers apply updates as soon as possible.
