Today, September 19, 2016 is International Talk Like a Pirate Day and the crew here at Connect here celebrating. We've got our best Pirate garb on and we're takin' no prisoners! Maybe, later, we'll all go in costume to our local Krispy Kreme and get a Free doughnut!!
International Talk Like a Pirate Day has a long and colorful history. Beginning in 1995 two friends lapsed into pirate lingo while playing racquetball and the rest, as they say, is history. Isn't that how the best celebrations are dreamed up? By random chance? You can read all about it on their official website Talk Like a Pirate .
