When uploading large layers to the streaming console you may receive an error that you are out of space. You check your BE space and your Repository Space and there is enough space to upload the package.
Cause:
The streaming console upload process needs overhead to be able to do the following:
- upload the package
- extract and setup the package for streaming
- % of overhead.
Resolution:
The formula is ((2*packagesize)+overhead). So if you have a package that is 10gb is size you will need at least 22+ GB free drive space to handle that layer.
